TAREQUE MASUD FESTIVAL Dec. 6-7 Dhaka

On the occasion of the 57th Birth Anniversary of filmmaker Tareque Masud, the Tareque Masud Memorial Trust has organized a special 2-day “Tareque Masud Festival”. The Festival will be held on the premises of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy December 6th & 7th, 2013, and will feature a number of programs in celebration of the life and dreams of the late filmmaker. Below is a Schedule of Events:

FRIDAY, December 6th
3:30pm   Festival Opening
4:00pm   Tareque Masud Memorial Lecture, presented by Nurul Alam Atique
5:30pm   Tea Break
6:00pm   Book Launch of “Cholochitro Lekha: Scripts & Songs”
6:30pm   Discussion on “Adam Surot”
7:30pm   Screening of Tareque Masud interview on the making of the film, followed by “Adam Surot”

SATURDAY, December 7th
3:30pm   DVD Launch of “Fera” (Return Journey)
4:00pm   Screening of “Fera”
4:45pm   Break
5:00pm   Awards Ceremony of Tareque Masud Short Film Competition
7:00pm   Festival Closing
